An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in Bathurst Regional Council area in 2023/24 shows the three largest industries were:

- Professional, Scientific and Technical Services ($309 million or 10.8%)
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing ($291 million or 10.2%)
